Belle Époque Coat “Fleur-de-Lis” without embroidery

Short woolen coat with exclusive trim

Fall in love with the new Belle Époque-inspired coat! Majestic, young and ephemeral beauty captivates, making you blindly follow her everywhere, fulfilling her most eccentric desires. Free and independent, she's able to let the next love-affair to dispel her maiden's boredom...

This promenade coat of 1890-1900-ies has all the features of the late Victorian fashion: elegantly elongated proportions, leg o'mutton sleeves, high low hemline and an S-shaped silhouette that draws attention to the enchanting female curves. The front part retains the classic surtout silhouette, enhanced by longitudinal lines and exclusive wide trim with Art Nouveau floral motives. Back part is quite different: seamed waist with a waterfall of folds and architectural embroidered half-belt. The hemline goes down in a smooth arc. Expressive cut refers to the gobletlike silhouettes of the era.

Collar trimming has subtle amethyst hue resembling a steel blue mink fur. The coat fastens with a number of wool-covered buttons and handmade woolen loops. They hint at a hussar uniform and relate the times when the elements of the Austro-Hungarian and Russian costume first became widespread in Western Europe.

Leg o'mutton sleeves are extremely wide over the upper arm and narrowed from the elbow to the wrist. Such a cut visually expands the shoulder line contrasting with a narrow waist.

This is a basic version of the coat without expensive embroidery on the back, the choice is yours so if you wish you can go with exclusive version with embroidery. The listing is for the coat only; corresponding hat and muff can be purchased separately.

I've been eyeing this one all casual like for a while but I only just noticed something looking at the pictures; The front closing really is just edge to edge, with no wind stopping placket underneath!?

    ArmStreet Team:

Hello, yes that is correct, but the coat closes tight edge to edge.

  • Renata 22 of November 2019:

Amazing coat! But can not understand for what season? I see the gap where is the clasp. Or no gap in this coat?

    ArmStreet Team:

Hi Renata, the coat is suitable for autumn and spring. There is no gab on the coat.
